Description
Aboriginal art serves as a great source that tells a tale of the tribe’s beliefs, behavioral aspects, survival tricks, aspirations, and routine events.
The style they adopted to record their history was one composed of an intricately detailed work of dots.
As old as 60,000- 80,000 years, Aboriginal art wasn’t initially done as paintings but used as body paint with the help of ochres. It was not until the 1930’s that the first few paintings were done and the art was recorded as an art form.
To capture their cultural significance and pay homage to an incredible line of work carrying the interpretations of the tribe, we have given our own spin to our cultural home decor, built to add a touch of antiquity to spaces.
These beautiful patterns following the shape of the wooden carving, are a composition of tightly packed dots. hand-painted on resin. The entire piece has been preserved and protected with epoxy resin which has been buffed for a glossy shine and shielded with a layer of oil for protection against scratches and other damages.
IMPORTANT – This table is one of its kind and cannot be recreated. We here at Aadhya make hand-painted resin tables in India and share an authenticity certificate with our products to ensure originality.
