Description

There is no written dialect to decode the history of the Aboriginal tribe. Their dotted patterns that were made into paintings only in the 1930s are symbolic of the lives they led and their time-honored survival techniques.

On the other hand, African tribal art as a form can be understood as the paintings or carvings depicting the lives led by the native tribes that were around 3000 in number settled across the world’s second-largest and second most-populous continent.

This art form is a genius representation of the imaginations of the settled farmers and hunters known for their own autonomy and unique characteristics.

This art form has popularly been seen as executed on rock walls of the caves where a major chunk of African history has been studied by generations of art historians.

This piece of art results from our imagination that inspired us to create a soulful juxtaposition of the two art forms. The fresh take on the two major art forms was to inspire diversity of forms in spaces.

This 3D effect has been achieved using a CNC machine and the artwork which is a combination of the Aboriginal dots and African tribal symbols all have been hand-painted onto layers of resin.

Finally, the piece has been preserved in epoxy resin, buffed for a glass-like shine.

IMPORTANT – This table is one of its kind and cannot be recreated. We here at Aadhya make hand-painted resin tables in India and share an authenticity certificate with our products to ensure originality.
