Description
Warli art is an art form that celebrates life in its most organic form. It is the celebration of activities that are done socially or even by families in a household. The purity lies in the simplicity and the idea behind the art which is to portray social life sans the myths or any sort of religious depictions.
The Warli art can rightfully be called something that is close to the prehistoric cave paintings for the paintings are done in the colour white on mud walls using clean shapes and figures.
The art form is quintessentially a joyful depiction of activities like sowing, harvesting, dancing, and hunting.
This piece of art right here is a combination of styles and narratives inspired by Warli Art.
The Indian art form has been done in hues that are similar to what the tribe used to do. To achieve this art, we have carved out a piece of wood with a CNC machine in the shape of a cow. This has then been filled with deep red resin, symbolic of the walls on which Warli art was done in the earlier times. Further, it is handpainted in Warli art style showcasing activities like farming, harvesting, watering, cutting, and cultivation.
The artwork on the epoxy resin coffee table has been protected in epoxy resin, buffed and smoothed for a glossy shine, and protected with a layer of oil to safeguard the piece from scratches and other damages.
IMPORTANT – This table is one of its kind and cannot be recreated. We here at Aadhya make hand-painted resin tables in India and share an authenticity certificate with our products to ensure originality.
