THE BEGINNING

Aadhya was born out of uncertainties. It is what would not have been if it wasn’t for the ambiguity that brought the world to a complete standstill.
The goal with Aadhya is to re-ignite the love for forgotten art forms and let their exclusiveness be commemorated in all nooks and corners of the world.

Raj Kishore Gupta
Aadhya is the brainchild of Raj Kishore Gupta, a Graduate in fine arts and one of the first few to buy computers, introducing the city of Chandigarh to a small printing press. Summer of ’98 is when he bought Gerber CNC Machine, which he used for making artsy 3D boards, signages, house number plates, partitions, and even 3D car number plates which instantly became a huge hit amongst the masses.
Maneuvering through a wave of trends, in 2010 he started working with Corian surfaces, with carving as an initial technique. Subsequently, he started working with color inlay, and like they say-
Learn Continually- there’s always “one more thing” to learn!
His quest to learn led him to start his experimentation with resin, later festooning it with his vision and wit.
Ankita Gupta
Born to an artist and one with a knack for creativity herself, Ankita Gupta is a post-graduate of visualization from Sikkim Manipal University. She further went on to complete her post-graduation in the visualization from Srishti Art College.
Before partnering with her dad to create resin masterpieces, she worked as a Digital illustrator for 7 years. Her secret rendezvous with the beautiful art lying around her father’s workshop and her child-like curiosity to learn new things are what led to her understanding of different art forms like Gond, Warli, Aboriginal, and African Tribal art.
It is only natural for a learner like Ankita to tap on the varied nuances of cultural artistry, which makes art pieces by AADHYA fairly unique and exclusive.
